About NAV-LD
Navigate AI. Live-Discover.
A community built on honest experiences — not hype, jargon, or made-up success stories.
Where NAV-LD came from
NAV-LD was founded by Curtis, a U.S. Navy veteran who started doing what a lot of people do when they first hear about AI: actually trying it on his own device to learn more about it.
Not with a big project or a tech background. With real questions, real problems, and a willingness to see what happened.
Some things worked well. Some didn't. All of it was worth learning from.
What was harder to find was a place where everyday people could share those experiences honestly, without pretending AI is either magic or useless.
That's what NAV-LD is.
A place to share what you tried, what happened, and what you learned.
What we stand for
No jargon
We write for people, not tech experts. If something needs explaining, we explain it in plain language.
No hype
AI is useful for some things and not others. We don't oversell it.
No invented stats
NAV-LD is new. We're building something real, and we're honest about where we are.
Real people
The stories here come from people who actually tried something. No fictional personas. No manufactured testimonials.
We're new — and that's okay
We don't have thousands of members or years of history.
What we do have is a clear purpose: helping everyday people understand AI through real experiences.
If you've tried AI for something — anything — your experience may help someone else.
Be part of it
Share what you tried, what happened, and what you learned.
